Oleshky evacuees reach Ukraine after taking a detour through Russia

The evacuation of Oleshky's residents marks a significant humanitarian effort as they navigated through Crimea, Russia, and Belarus during a temporary ceasefire. With the aid of buses, this complex journey, affirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, reunited families after long separations. The perilous living conditions and food scarcity pushed these individuals to leave their homes, ultimately finding refuge in the Chernihiv region of Ukraine.
