Janata Dal (United) has cancelled the membership of Mokama MLA Anant Kumar Singh due to his conduct and actions. The party cited his campaigning for other candidates in the Bihar Legislative Council election as a significant reason. Singh's expulsion and a six-year ban were announced in an office order dated October 24. Additionally, former MLA Neelam Devi was also expelled for similar anti-party activities.
