JDU MLA Anant Singh claims he ‘got 9 people murdered’, later retracts

Anant Singh, a prominent JD(U) legislator, sparked controversy by claiming involvement in nine murders, which he later said were in reference to violent episodes from the Lalu Prasad era. This declaration comes amidst heightened political tensions surrounding the Patna Graduates' MLC election, prompting the RJD to seek accountability from Nitish Kumar. Meanwhile, JD(U) dismissed Singh's remarks as mere expressions of dissatisfaction within the party.
